Hello, and Welcome!

If you love Birds, and especially love Birds in Art, then you are in the right place!

I have loved birds my entire life, and how can you not? Their colour, their spirit, their exquisite beauty, their charming and sometimes comical ways...

I am an artist whose artwork depicts the exquisite beauty and grace of birds through the use of watercolour pencil on paper.

I make Art because, as a very introverted and quiet person, I've stuggled with finding my voice and have found creative expression to be fulfilling and deeply satisfying on an emotional and spiritual level that I can't even begin to describe.

I live near a small woodland area in London, Ontario, where I wake to the song of a multitude of birds--everything from bluejays to chickadees, house sparrows to mourning doves. My sketchbook is always close at hand, so I am constantly jotting things down, perfecting and developing my skills.

I have exhibited in Victoria and Vancouver B.C., Toronto and London, Ontario. I have particicated in both group and solo shows with the London Artist Studio Tours (2007 & 2008), The Arts Project, Westland Gallery, and Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre.
